Thanx alot to our Judges, its not an easy task to work out what film should win over another. Let alone living your lives in fear with death threats and murder attempts all year round from unhappy sociopathic filmmakers. Our hats off to you! (and a minute of silence for Gary Mendez, our ex judge we had few years ago who was brutally slain and minced with a tea strainer by an enraged filmmaker who believed with a passion their film should have won in 2004) set your clocks.... A MINUTE LATER... Special Mentions from the judges must go to The Grin Reaper, Pal, Poo Shampoo, Chloroplasm, Smell the Cheese, Drag Queens From Outta Space, Bikini Vampire Girls Strike Back, Wolf Boy, Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey, UDDSX and Vegetables Of Pain. But ALL the films screened this year were fxckin great and we are happy as Larry in shit that the criminally insane have finally got hold of the equipment to make quality films. High quality, low brow entertainment is really a reality! If you didn't win this year, don't despair. There's some great talent out there. YOU ROCK!!! We'll be calling out for films again round about January/Febuary till August/September 2007. SO GET BRAINSTORMING, WRITING, SHOOTING!!!! It was truly great to meet all you on the tour, thanks for the drinks, putting us up, pulling Dick out of the gutter and reminding us that this really IS a worthwhile disease... er cause. It was great talking to film makers and other human oddities about horror, poo websites and trash film culture for a whole fxcking month!! It was Halloween, beer and trash films nearly every night! What else can you ask for? (apart from a new liver which ran away in Melbourne somewhere) Stay in contact and if your in S.A look us up We got some photos of the tour for you to peruse (when Jero could focus) on the pix section on the website. But none of Dick sleeping under the stars in Sydney bushes, the junkie fish n chip lady in Geelong with broken needle hanging out her arm or the webcam our roadie Pedro had set up in female toilets across the country. (oops, don't worry, that's a joke trendsetters. Pedro tells us it was actually in the handycapped toilets) Thanks again to our rockin VIP sponsors who contributed to the winners prize pool.
